It had been a fabulous Famine 30 for a total of 30 hours of ‘hunger’ to feel what the hungry country is feeling, Hunger! Hunger is a very very serious issue since a long time ago but it seems like the government and the world is not paying too much attention to it. Hunger involved millions of people and kids in the world and it kills many many of them due to NOT ENOUGH food! Please appreciate what you have today and help those who are in need!

I went to UTAR Famine 30 DIY Camp for a shoot out, but i was not the camper there(i only famine for 9 hours,lol! But i appreciate what i learned!) This time, i went with my new D300 to try out the performance for the first time on event shooting! What to comment about this new machine? I rated 8.5/10 while my previous camera i only can rate 5.5/10. Dramatic increase of performance isn’t it? I am satisfied with its focusing speed, focusing accuracy, high ISO performance, Nikon Active D-lighting performance, fast switching of setting, long lasting battery, enough power of flash, high resolution LCD screen and many more! But…i need a vertical grip MB-D10 to increase my stability for vertical shots!

It was a two days event, the first day was in UTAR PJ while the second day was in Stadium Putra Indoor Stadium for a 6 hours countdown. Ah mei,Taiwan singer came to support the event representing World Vision. Besides, artists like Gary Yap, Danell, Jaclyn, Guang Liang, and so on also came to support the event. It had been a great event for youngsters to learn about the moral story behind this event. 70% of the campers were only primary/secondary school students while the remaining were Universities student and working adult. A total of 6000-7000 campers were flooding the stadium. All were super energetic youngsters although they had not been eating for the pass 24hours. As we all know the A H1N1 Influenza is getting more serous recently, but, their spirit was not drown. All came with mask protected, temperature checked and hand antiseptic’ed! Let’s take a look at part of the event that i have shot!
